Strengthening and stretching exercises are excellent ways to improve weak links, however, we now know our brain may not know how to use the new found mobility or strength. Current research has shown that the best way to change running mechanics is to use biofeedback. Press Play Analysis provides the solutions to enhance performance and correct dysfunction while running using our state-of-the-art software and running knowledge.
Want to correct form and technique? Sick of being injured? Want to get faster and run more efficiently?
Gait retraining is the missing link between what you do in the gym or rehab facility and what you do out on the road or trail. Unfortunately, most of us have no idea how we are running, what we look like, or if we are running correctly when we are left to our own devices. We are told to strike a certain way, stand tall, don’t overstride. But how do you know if you are doing it correctly? Press Play Performance Lab uses state-of-the-art technology and evidence-based cues to help you relearn how to run more efficiently to improve performance and prevent injuries.
Gait Retraining may include:
Working one-on-one with one of our coaches, you will learn how to run efficiently in real time in our lab so you can take that new found stride back outside. We have found the most effective retraining plan is 1-2x/week for 5 weeks. All sessions are 30-60 minutes.
